Modern Warfare 3′s campaign and Spec Ops progression will play a role in multiplayer unlockables with the new MW3 Prestige Shop.
“The Prestige Shop is not only for Prestiging… but it’s also complete the single player, complete the single player in Veteran, complete Spec Ops, or do something in Spec Ops,” revealed Infinity Ward.
Whereas hitting the Prestige in past Call of Duty games saw unlocks like “Create a Class”, the prestige shop now offers much more selection by using a currency system to “buy what you want” and considers other game modes beside multiplayer.
The Prestige Shop is unlocked after Prestiging the very first time. Once you reach rank 80, you may totally reset your rank by Prestiging, but every time you Prestige in MW3, you are going to acquire 1 token which you can use to unlock Prestige Rewards. You can also save up your tokens once you Prestige, or spend them on any of the 8 Prestige Rewards.

- Double XP (2 hours)
- Double Weapon XP
- Regular Package
- Unlock Gear (take a gun with you to next Prestige)
- Hardened Package
- Veteran Package
- Reset all Stats

So do you get a token for every time you prestiged in the previous games? or is it you get one token for prestigeing once in the previous games?

Derrick, what I believe is that you get 1 token if you have prestiged in any game. Only 1. Not one for each game just one. Kind of sucks for the more experienced people but it is to make it balanced. My information is based on this video and what has been going around.
you get 1 token for each game. no matter how many time you prestiged. so since i played and prestiged in COD4 and MW2 i will get 2 tokens. I never played WAW or BO, if i had prestiged in those i would get up to 4 tokens
the prestige shop is open when you start the game from level 0 not level 80 as the 4 bonus tokens you unlock for the previous cods can be spent for some reason im missing one even though I prestiged for the first time on waw that point is not there…a pain

I've heard that alot that you can use the prestige shop also if you complete the single player, single player on veteran etc. I've completed the single player but didn't get a token for that. First i thought that they maybe mean getting 100% on campaign but then there won't be a difference between single player and single player on veteran bc you need to finish it on veteran if you want to get 100%. Does anyone knows more about this?
i prestiged 2 times in mw2 will i get 2 tokens??
Ok this is how it works. You get one token for each game you have prestiged in. So it doesnt matter how many times you prestiged in CoD4, WaW, MW2, or BO(whether it be 1 prestige or 10 prestiges, 15 for BO).You get 1 TOKEN PER GAME. I prestiged 2 times in CoD4, 1 time in WaW, 8 times in MW2, and 5 times in BO. So that means i get 4 tokens total; 1 for each game i prestiged atleast once in.

hey, i have prestiged several times in all of the call of duty games and have not gotten any tokens? what gives? yet i have gone a prestiged 10 times already on mw3 so am i done with tokens? i wasted them on weapons but now no extra tokens for old game and will i ever get more tokens later as i play mw3 ?
I hear that you have to play atleast one game after you prestige in the previous games for it to count. Hope that helps if not there isn't much else I can say.
i got the elite box so i got 1 token right of the bat pluse i prestige in black ops so i got 2 total .. to bad you dont get more after getting more xp points…
So every time I prestige in Mw3 will I get a new token?
Quick question,
I've spent a lot of time playing special ops (survivor mode) and have reached level 50. When I prestige in multi-player (level 80) will I keep my level 50 in special ops?

I too completed the single player, no token. Maybe you have to beat it on a higher difficulty. I just played it on whatever it is set at.

if you started nw3 online then prestige on any other game then u get a token(i prestiged on Black ops and got a token
Are these extra tokens for other games (MW2, BO, WAW etc.) only available on consoles? or all platforms?
I play pc and have prestiged in all COD's and MW's possible, but NO TOKEN FOR ME!?
