Beachhead Studios has revealed that all MW3 Playstation 3 gamers will be receiving an exclusive Call of Duty Elite theme on Feb 28th free of charge. Together with Elite’s two DLC drops and MW3 patch 1.09, which brings 5 new prestige levels and in-game support for Clan Operations, Playstation 3 gamers can expect the free Elite theme pictured above.
“Charge those Bluetooth headsets – PS3 Call of Duty Elite Premium members get the first two MW3 Content Drops, Liberation and Piazza, on February 28. We’ll also be releasing this ELITE theme, free to all PS3 owners.”
MW3 gamers on the PS3 with paid Elite subscriptions were looking forward to these new multiplayer maps for quite a time now. Xbox 360 Elite subscribers gotten the DLC’s on January 24th, and also since then have received the Overwatch map this week.
The Xbox 360 exclusivity deal remains valid until the end of 2012, and all Call of Duty DLC show up initially on Xbox 360 until then. What are your thoughts on the Xbox exclusivity deal? With this year’s introduction of Elite, do you think it’s fair for PS3 gamers?
