Modern Warfare 3 has launched to millions during the last twenty four hours without having a problem, however it seems that its web based component, Call of Duty Elite is having difficulties under the weight of so many new end users. Efforts to log in via either the console or even the internet are generally met with error messages and when you do manage to sign in, usually the stats are entirely empty
Elite is free of charge for all users, with an additional premium membership service that you must pay an annual fee to get into or it’s contained in the MW3 Hardened Edition. It seemingly was not ready to manage this many people registering for Elite all at once, although at the least the game continues to be playable and a fix is in the process of getting applied.
Today, Beachhead Studios’ Chacko Sonny published an announcement concerning the situation on behalf of Activision:
“Registration requests for our new live service Call of Duty Elite are exceeding even our most optimistic expectations, which is creating a bottleneck and some players have not been able to register. We have already registered hundreds of thousands of players and we are working around the clock to increase our capacity as quickly as possible.”
Sonny also stated that players will not lose any of their stats throughout the downtime:
“Please be assured your gameplay data is safe and that whenever you successfully register for Call of Duty Elite, all of your data will be waiting for you. So enjoy the game, start ranking up and we assure you we are working around the clock to accommodate every player who wants to be a part of Call of Duty Elite as quickly as possible. We will update you frequently to keep you informed.”
However long that could take, the main thing is gamers aren’t missing out on getting their stats monitored meanwhile. In case you have not yet registered, your data is being recorded and will be available as soon as you do.

I specifically bought the Elite Package to get the 2 hours dbl xp. I AM NOT GETTING IT. I COULD HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE MAPS. UNSATISFIYED. FIX IT
Im out $100 and feel ripped
The game doesnt work right ( cant play with friends 90% of the time) I know it is 1st few days.
but with franshise liek this there shouldnt be this many issues (should be ironed out before release)
Elite cant finish reg. on there site I have had email verification and waiting to log in for 2 days
get it fixed or start refunding money easy as that. but you cant even tell them that as you must register to be able to send suport an email lol
i don't like the maps on the game, some older maps should be released, and some of the weapons are pathetically weak, all that aside my main question is if someone could answer, when you register for a premium elite account you become a COD Founder, now with this login error thats happened will it still recognise you as a founder if you paid the extra cash for elite once its fixed?

i figured out how to change email address!
go onto mw3 elite online, go into login, login with your old email adress that you want to change, then login, then i t will come up with, "you have yet to verify your email address, then it will ask you to resend email address, just enter your new email address, an click send, wait 10-15 minutes TA DA!.

I can't get passed the regerstration…it says I have 80% and asks for security hint. After I enter it, a message pops up and says I can't complete function at this time and should come back later. That was yesterday. Anyone have any Ideas…Is it my firewall?
