Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been revealed with an unplanned retail listing by Amazon France, reported by French website Gameblog.fr.
The website states that a product page for the follow up to the 2010 Call of Duty title had gone live on Amazon.fr and that also, when they reported this, the listing was removed.
Rendering matters all the more intriguing, a follow-up post, from GameBlog claims that the site was afterwards asked by Activision to get rid of news on the listing. Subsequent to declining to do so, the website was allegedly told “not to present themselves” at a Transformers: Fall of Cybertron event that that they had formerly been invited to.
Additionally Joystiq also found a LinkedIn profile referencing development on Black Ops 2. Based on the resume, the developer worked on titles in the past like Anno 1404, Doom 4 and Aliens: Colonial Marines. The company he is employed by presently, has carried out contract work for Treyarch previously on James Bond title Quantum of Solace as well as the first Black Ops.
The game hasn’t formally been confirmed by Activision, never the less just last month Activision registered a domain name for “Black Ops 2″, but they dismissed it had any meaning to development plans.

i would recomend u start out with call of duty rodemn warfare 2.the people say that you wont get the story mode of black ops if you havnt played rodemn warfare 2. besides, its wayyyy more fun and more ppl play it. i was watching a few gameplays of black ops and it seems to be that the graphics arnt that good and the maps are small. so the multiplayer in black ops isnt that great. but i hear the single player is amazing.watch these:Was this answer helpful?
So this is the deal Modern Warfare and the Black Ops take turns with the Call of Duty after black ops 2 you'll have MW4 and Black Ops 3 and so on and so forth. I personally can't wait for the return of the Zombies. MW3 is somewhat of a disappoint.
I don't really think there will be an MW4, they left us with a pretty clear ending in MW3 which was satisfying enough. Black Ops didn't have really anything that it closed on so it is very likely that there will be a sequel… When though, no one really knows except the producers @ Activision.
