If you have been playing Black Ops 2 multiplayer in recent days you have probably noticed the large number of Prestige Master’s in each lobby. At first I was impressed by the number of players reaching the last level of prestige, however when looking at these players’ stats as well as just their performance during games, it just did not seem right.

There is a new “copy stats” glitch which enables players to copy the entire stats of another player which can include the prestige master level, high K/D as well diamond camo. Additionally some are even selling their own rank and stats for Xbox 360 and PS3. We will not go into detail on how this glitch works since we don’t encourage it and there are plenty of YouTube videos detailing on how to do it.

Treayarch is aware of the problem and is working at banning these accounts as well as banning all those who are trying to sell their own rank and stats. This glitch does not affect gameplay and does not ruin the experience for others; it’s just entertaining to see all these Prestige Masters with their high K/D performing poorly game after game, just like before the glitch.
